Movies are fun! We found a great web site called Kids In Mind that has their own rating system based on a 1-10 number for each of 3 categories - sex, violence and profanity. You can search for a particular movie title, browse current theatre showings or search on their ratings. As an example, here is a search for a 2 or less in each category. The other great part is the detailed descriptions including those things a parent might not a child to see.
Brandywine River Museum Just over the border on Route 1 in Chadds Ford, PA, this museum highlights the Wyeth family and other artists of the Brandywine tradition. Open daily 9:30-4:30 (except Christmas Day) admission is $8, seniors and kids 6-12 $5, free for under 6. They also have a Young Friends group that is geared to young adults and families.
